Mark Stuart and Stacey Earle made their mark on our little corner of the world

We had two great experiences yesterday with Mark Stuart and Stacey Earle. First, in the afternoon, they did a little songwriter's workshop for about 25 people of all ages here at our Mid Town Family Resource Center in Parkersburg. They encouraged some youth to write songs, and explore instruments and styles of music. They related to the adults some of the adventures, and trials and tribulations of the life of a musician. They told their compelling musical stories.
In the evening they put on a great concert for about 30 people here in our coffee house setting. A wide mix of ages, backgrounds and circumstances among the audience, they connected to each and every one, and played a stunning array of song styles and heart felt lyrics and mesmerizing guitar styling. They keep winning over a widening circle of music lovers here in Parkersburg. Some pictures will follow!!!!
