tomorrow night - 3rd annual john prine birthday tribute

saturday october 8, 2005 is the third annual john prine birthday tribute benefit of the mid ohio valley- parkersburg west virginia. 7:30 pm at the boreman wheel house. $5 donation to the children's home society of west virginia; live music, contests, prize giveaways. John Prine fans will gather to celebrate the music and spirit of a great american songwriter and performer.
we have 5-6 musicians lined up, and are always looking for phantom mystery singers to join us, like the first year when we had the duet on "in spite of ourselves" perform late in the show.
within a day or so after the show there will be a full report on this site, and the "kick off" of some greater public notice of the site. a flyer is ready for distribution at the event tomorrow night.
