Greens recap from friday; and looking ahead

The Greens had a good turnout of enthusiastic fans friday night at Bogies. Lots of dancing as the evening progressed. Lots of the loyal - true-Green (get it not true-blue) fans, coming for the monthly (or so) opportunity to enjoy the tunes and antics. Early on, Andy was accommodating requests, trying to keep the customers satisfied.... the Greens have so much music "in their repetoire" that many usual crowd favorites could not even be fit into the 4 hour set list. Some EARLY jimi hendrix covers for instance. Andy had the dark brown guitar out for a goodly portion of the show; I guess finally breaking a string pretty far into the show. There were several (more than usual?) instrumentals throughout the night, maybe that superseded the traditional fan favorites for the night.
Andy has two solo shows next weekend here in Parkersburg- friday night at 6 pence pub (or whatever the exact name is) and saturday at the wheel house. So following another week of construction labor he'll be back in the 'Burg. I don't know if St. Patrick's day is particularly a big holiday or not. I don't know much schedule beyond that.
