2007 Americana Music Tribute Series
Children’s Home Society of West Virginia – Parkersburg

CHS of WV-Parkersburg announces the 2007 series of live music events and benefit fund raisers to support the work of the agency in the Parkersburg area with children and families. Building on the fun, community support and live music entertainment generated in 2006, the 2007 series is bigger and more diversified.

February 23, 2007 (Friday) 2nd annual Johnny Cash tribute (The Cash Bash) at the Boreman Wheel House, downtown Parkersburg.

April, 2007 (exact date TBA) Celebration of Women of Americana Music (Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, etc.)

June 2007 - “Whole Lotta Hank” tribute (Hank Williams, Hank Williams Jr., Hank Williams III)

August 2007 – Bluegrass, Old Timey, and String Band Music Celebration

October 2007 – 5th annual John Prine Birthday Tribute

November 2007 – 2nd annual Neil Young Birthday Tribute
