The songwriter show at the Blennerhassett was a nice event- Todd Burge opened and connected the series together pretty well- he's gearing towards a new CD with some of the newest songs performed. Had a nice little whistling crowd participation song in there. Sang two of his Peace trilogy songs at the end.
Devon Sproule was the guest- she was very entertaining- a good performer, lots of smiles and good between song way; good lyrics, good guitar playing, good voice. That was nice to get a preview of her here, before the hock hocking folk festival in May over in Nelsonville. Liked her sense of roots in Virginia, and a nice image of a cottage up in canada, too.
